Avocado Coconut Ice Cream Recipe                       

If you're on a vegan or non-dairy diet, you may be familiar with "nice cream", which usually involves mashed frozen bananas with various berries mixed in. It's a healthy alternative to traditional ice cream. Some people like to mix peanut butter or chocolate into their "nice cream" to make it taste more sweet like ice cream.

Without the added sugar and calories, this is the perfect treat if you're craving something different. This recipe is easy to follow and doesn't even require an ice cream machine!

Avocado Coconut Ice Cream Recipe                       


  • 2 avocados, peeled, pitted, and frozen

  • 3/4 cup coconut milk

  • 1 1/4 cup coconut water

  • Juice of 1/2 lime

  • 1/2 cup agave

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 1 cup strawberries, washed, hulled and sliced


  1. Put frozen avocados, coconut milk, coconut water, lime juice, agave, and salt into a food processor or blender.

  2. Blend until ingredients are combined and smooth.

  3. Freeze for at least 2 hours (recommended overnight).

  4. Top with strawberries and enjoy!
